About Steve Clark

I’ve always been drawn to two kinds of books: action thrillers that keep me turning the pages, and metaphysical and spiritual stories that leave me thinking long after I’ve finished them. So when I could no longer resist the urge to write my own, those seemed the perfect places to begin.

My writing follows both interests, from stories of suspense and danger to explorations of consciousness, connection and the mysteries of being human. Sometimes those worlds overlap—and that’s where things get particularly interesting.

I live in Essex with my wife, our two children and our chocolate Labrador, Cocoa. Away from writing, I enjoy spending time with my family and walking in the countryside with Cocoa, who is generally more interested in the next muddy puddle than my latest plot idea.
